Bandar Seri Begawan - Twenty-two year-old future Queen of Brunei spilled royal blood yesterday.
But the Bruneian princess, HRH Pengiran Anak Sarah, the wife of the Crown Prince HRH Pengiran anak Al-Muhtadee Billah did all that for a good cause -- to voluntarily save those who needed blood most.
For yesterday was World Blood Donation Day. It is celebrated every June 14, officially declared a historical day and marked by the World Health Organisation since 2005.
The Bruneian Princess who is a University of Brunei student appeared at the blood donation centre at the RIPAS Hospital with eight of her colleagues from the Army cadet platoon to give their blood voluntarily yesterday.
