Barracudas hunting for second straight win

image THE Brunei Barracudas are eyeing their second win on the spin when they take on the Singapore Slingers in tonight's Asean Basketball League action.

Fresh off their convincing 71-56 victory over titleholders and leaders Philippine Patriots last Saturday, confidence should be on a high in the camp after handing the defending champions their first loss of the season.

Tonight's game will be the second in a string of three home games for the Barracudas at the Indoor Stadium of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Berakas, and there has never been a better time than now to improve on their 2-4 record.

The Slingers, meanwhile, are looking to bounce back from their 88-83 overtime loss to Satria Muda BritAma in Jakarta last Saturday. Read More…
