ONE win stands in the way of the defending champions.Easyway, who are made up of the national cagers, will face the Wisdom Jade Daycare Wildcats in the final of the Sultan Cup today at the Brunei Basketball Association court in Batu Bersurat.
They have progressed through the tournament with ease, winning seven consecutive matches by double-digit margins, in fact, by an average of almost 35 points per game.
They are the favourites in the matchup once again, having beaten the Wildcats 85-63 in the second round on Tuesday.
The key to Easyway's success has been their stingy defence.
In their first encounter, they limited sharpshooter Danny Felicilda and high-flying Filipino Geve Leones to 12 and 11 points respectively.
