LufBru Summer Games 2009

One of the highly anticipated games amongst Bruneian Students who are currently studying in the UK, the LufBru Summer Games aims to foster close relationships between students as well as to develop the spirit of sportsmanship. UNIVERSITI Brunei Darussalam (UBD) captured the Loughborough Students' Union Brunei Society (Lufbru) Summer Games basketball title after going an undefeated run in the competition held at UBD's Multipurpose Hall yesterday.

They recorded a 26-16 succeed over UK BRU in their first match and went on to defeat Lufbru Magic 32-11 in their second.

A 27-22 result against The Select in their third game and a 52-14 triumph over Lufbru X in their last game earned them the title.

They finished second last year and their manager said she was happy they were able to go one up this time around. Read More…
