Lian Fu Restaurant serve up Sharp

THERE was a whole lot of running but not a lot of scoring.
Lian Fu Restaurant needed three whole quarters to warm up as they picked up their third consecutive win with a 52-36 victory over Sharp in Group A of the 2nd Easyway Under-19 Basketball Tournament yesterday at the Brunei Basketball Association court in Batu Bersurat.
The duo of Jong How Kiat and Lim Yee Chen paced Lian Fu with 14 points while Andric Koh had all of his 11 points in the fourth quarter in the victory.
Brandon James Nambiar was the only cager to hit double figures for Sharp with 14 points in the loss.
It was a slow start to the game as both teams were shooting bricks.
Nothing was going at the offensive end regardless of how easy the shots may seem. Read More…
