Leones too hot for `Elevan' Degree

Degree Sport Cafe in Group B last night at the Kampung Baru Basketball court in Seria.
In a game where Team Wayne was missing the services of Majomar Aying, G K Yih was the second top notcher with 15
points.
On the opposite end, Ho Boon Siong led Elevan Degree Sport Cafe with 15 points while Kelvin Chin contributed 14 in a losing effort.
"I don't know what happened but I just played my game. I felt good shooting the ball and they were falling," said Leones, in an interview with The Brunei Times, after the victory.
Elevan Degree Sport Cafe, despite losing two out of two heading the match, showed that they were a competitive side in the opening period. Starting out hot they fired to a 21-15 lead heading into the second quarter.
However, Leones took over in the second period with 17 points to grab the lead for Team Wayne at 45-35 at halftime. It was an equally contested affair in the third with Elevan Degree Sport Cafe making the extra passes to get their points but faced a 64-50 deficit going into the final stanza. Read More...
