Queenielin's Cup: Sharks leave Hope in tatters

SHARKS put a dent in Hope's chances of grabbing a treble with an 87-71 victory in Group B of the 2nd Queenielin's Cup last night at the Brunei Basketball Association court in Batu Bersurat. 
The defeat is Hope's second in a row after their opening day 85-74 loss to Palm Muara United last Saturday. Aries Castro was the main hitman for Sharks with a game-high of 30 points while Jeff Paraiso topscored for Hope with 19 points.
The competition continues tomorrow with Palm Cafe going up against Fire Eater at 8.30pm. The second game pits Palm Muara United against Urdan Express. Source: The Brunei Times
