Mighty MK crush undersized Kenview

MK SYARIKAT JAZMAR rampaged through their match against Kenview Enterprise to notch a 90-49 victory in the Aewon Cup 2011 Basketball Championship Tournament last night at the Brunei Basketball Association court in Batu Bersurat. Geve Leones scored a game high 20 points to lead MK in the win.
Wong Ha Shiong scored 14 points for the losing side, at most times initiating the attack for his team.
Both teams employed the 2-3 zone defence with the hopes of stopping the opposing shooters from getting easy looks at the basket.
The game however turned into a contest of endurance, an aspect of the game which Kenview just could not match up to their counterparts.
This was already evident in the first quarter itself with the starting five for MK outplaying Kenview convincingly with their quicker movement and a greater hustle for the ball, helping them build up a 24-13 lead by the end of the first quarter. Read More… Source: The Brunei Times
