Winningest Coach of Singapore to lead Brunei youth and national team.

Also present the night of the Barracuda’s tryout was the long time and the winningest coach of Singapore (around 300+ wins) and now the Basketball Development Coach at Bintulu Basketball Association and NBL; Kevin Antoine Reece. He is here for a probable coaching job for the national team particularly for the youth in primary and secondary schools. He is also the good friend of Bobby Parks, an ex-PBA import in the early 90’s and once played for the Shell Rimula Cup here a few years back. Kevin also reminisced his old basketball days with Bobby while both are still playing at University of Memphis.

Kevin had several tryout invitations from the National Basketball Association (NBA) in the 80’s, 1984 for the Los Angeles Clippers, Golden State Warriors in 1988. In 2000 his jersey number was hanged and retired in New Zealand Basketball League. In 1991 he played in Malaysia, Indonesia, Seychelles, Mexico, Australia and Japan.
