Pilgrim is back ... in Borneo

FORMER Brunei Barracudas fan-favourite Mike Pilgrim will be among the former Asean Basketball League (ABL) players in this season's Malaysia National Basketball League (NBL).
Suiting up for neighbouring Miri Fire Horses, the American will be joined by Chai Tze Hian and Francis Loh How Won, who played for the KL Dragons in the inaugural ABL season two years ago.
The Malaysia NBL tips off on July 1 and the KL Dragons will be aiming to become the first team to defend their title in the competition's 10 years.
According to a Press release issued by the ABL yesterday, ex-Dragons Koh Way Tek and Wee Chuan Chin will be suiting up for Perak Farmcochem, where they will be joined by ABL titleholders Thailand Slammers' Chris Kuete as an import.
Singapore Siglap will also be playing in the competition with Steven Khoo and Lim Sheng Yu from the Singapore Slingers leading the squad, while teammate Al Vergara has been roped in as an import. Read More… The Brunei Times
