SCB thrashed 107-62 by D'Babes

D'BABES (ABMS S/B) are on a roll following their second consecutive blowout win with a 107-62 rout of Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) last night in Group E of the Inter-Company Basketball Tournament at the Brunei Basketball Association court in Batu Bersurat.
Mark Del Mundo paced the way with a game-high of 33 points for D'Babes and Alnager Daris poured in 31 points. Edmund Mendez added 19 points in the victory.
On the other hand, Paul Wong led the way for SCB with 27 points and Cavan Kong, who nailed five treys, added 23 points to a losing cause.
SCB got off to a quick start and jumped to an early 7-0 lead. D'Babes couldn't put the ball through the hoop but managed to stick around with SCB making turnovers to only trail 15-17 heading into the second quarter.
It remained a close game and the scoreboard read 24-28 in favour of D'Babes before opening the floodgates with an 8-0 run. SCB were not getting their shots from range and had to rely on penetrating to the basket.
