EASYWAY made things look really easy cruising through their group matches at the 2nd Under-21 Brunei Youth Basketball Championship (BYBC) at the Kampung Baru basketball court in Seria.
The defending champions ended the group stages with a flawless record to top Group A and move into the quarter-finals.
Boasting five players Jamri Ramlee, Lim Liang Wei, Khoo Chin Kai, Hj Md Badri Hj Suhaili and Afif Khalidi from the national squad, defence has always been key to their victories limiting their opponents to an average of just over 36 points per game in their four matches so far.
In addition, they are averaging 65-point victory margins, scoring an average of 102 points per game with their biggest victory being a 129-10 demolition of Crasher last Thursday.
Their last win on Saturday was equally impressive, playing full court pressure defence the whole way using only six players, but still delivered with a 79-30 triumph over Yun Hin.
Their next target are Awesome, who haven't had the best of luck after
dropping three consecutive matches that saw them seeded fourth in Group B, in the final eight. Read More…
