"Teamwork is getting better now but we'll have to further improve in our next practice sessions as the next round is going to be difficult," said
Leones.
NBT head coach, Raul Dimaano, was satisfied with the
triumph.
"I didn't expect to win by such a margin tonight (Wednesday night) but as long as we get a win, it is alright," said Dimaano.
"We're getting better and stronger after each game. The main key is to get to know each other but we know we need to practise more to get ready for the next round," said the NBT head coach.
"We should be facing either the Ilonggo Stingers or Soon Lee-Easyway and we must be prepared for them. We still need to polish up on our teamwork," continued Dimaano.
The competition continues tonight at 7 with the Glaic's Skywalkers taking on R&T 'B' in Group B of the veterans (35 years old and above) category.
The match between Ilonggo Stingers and Al-Ssarah Eagles in Group B of the Open category follows at 8.30pm.
