SKS Stingers show why they're the champs

DEFENDING Champions SKS Stingers made easy work of HAHD with a 117-47 demolition in Group A of the Inter-Company NBT Basketball Tournament last night at the Brunei Basketball Association court in Batu Bersurat.
In what was their third straight win, Sinco led all scorers with 26 points while Lowey Jee Palma added 19 points for the Stingers. Rio Oblido and Calago each chipped in 10 points in the triumph.
The second match of the night saw Hyatt pull through with a 63-56 win over QAF in Group B.
Joel Igares topscored for Hyatt with 15 points while Arjay Buenaventura added 12 points in the victory.
Arnold Buan had a game-high of 20 points to pace QAF while Joseph contributed 13 points to a losing cause.
The competition continues today with Group C action. First up will see Sunlit go up against Readymix at 7.30pm.
The second game will see a battle between Don Mordeno and Geve Leones as Ford tackle Jati Transport at 9pm.
There was also plenty of futsal action at the Indoor Stadium of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas. Read More…
