Captain Lowey Jee Palma (pic, extreme right) was the topscorer with a 17-point effort while Alvin Lavarias added 13 points to his name. Sinco also had a good game contributing 12 points while Nibrija chipped in 10 points in what was the Stingers' sixth victory of the tournament.
No players hit double figures for Baker Hughes. The duo of Yong Min Yah and Frankie Goh each had matching seven-point performances in a losing effort.
It didn't take a genius to guess who would win the matchup especially with the size and height advantage that the Stingers possess. However, the game was relatively close in the opening period with the Stingers carrying a 25-14 lead going into the second quarter.
