BUKIT LADANG once again showed that they were a tough mountain to climb as they triumphed 100-75 over Wan Sing yesterday in their Group B match of the Aewon Cup 2011 Basketball Championship Tournament.
The absence of Bukit Ladang's go-to-guy, Esmond Tan, wasn't missed as six players scored into double figures for the victors Lim Liang Wei leading the way with 26 points while Ho Hee Lee and Benjamin Lim added 12 points each.
Yan Wan Fung, Daniel Chong and Wong Kim Guan all scored 10 points a piece to contribute to the 100 point score-line.
Captain of Wan Sing Joeffer Camay basketted an impressive game-high 39 points.
Talanay Allan Rodriguez and Paul Morales Ponio followed after with 14 and 10 points respectively.
Bukit Ladang started the match strongly by controlling the pace of the game, slowing down the play and decisively winning rebounds on both ends of the floor. Read More…
