Barracudas meet Tigers again Sunday.

Brunei's very own professional basketball team, the Barracudas, are looking for its first back-to-back win in the Asean Basketball League when they face the Thailand Tigers tomorrow (Sunday) at the Nimibutr National Stadium in Bangkok.
In the last match-up at Brunei's National Indoor Stadium, the Barracudas grabbed its first home with at the expense of Thailand Tigers 91-86 in the final quarter turnaround.
Leonidez Avenido, the Barracudas point guards who scored 16 points in the comeback win against the Tigers said: "We are excited to face the Tigers again after the win at home. We want to grab our first back-to-back win."
"With the new American import of Reggie Larry, I feel there is a new chemistry in the team that could helped the team triumph."
"We know that they (Tigers) will be playing hard and is looking to avenge their loss in Brunei. It will be a different game. However, we did make some adjustments to the defence including man-to-man and full court press which is different from the usual zonal defence."
"In the previous match, we didn't know that the Tigers have great three points shooters and we were caught off guard. In the next game on Sunday, we will be ready."
On the home win, he expressed: "We gave a good fight until the end. Our players have a never-say-die attitude in front of the home crowds. I hope we will carry the momentum into the Tigers' den on Sunday." Read More...
