Liga BumiPutera trounce M. Movers, Warriors won.

GADONG, BSB -- (Group B) Morley Movers dropped a 78-66 decision to the younger Liga Bumiputera (2-3) from last nights FBA-LBC Basketball Cup at Batu Bersurat indoor gym.

Playing without the teams key players, Morley Movers (1-4) were no match to the up-tempo game of the All-Malay Select Team who also lost their two previous games.

HJ Mohd Badri led Liga Bumiputera with 22pts in front of the electrifying and loud LBP fans who are always supportive to the team.

Firepower was also provided by the Brunei Barracudas reserve HJ Mohd Rahmat with 20pts, who also had an impressive performance followed by 8pts of Hj Sabri, while Melwyn Beleza and Lito Macale had 28pts and 10pts respectively for the Morley Movers.

 
LBP who started strong with 22-2 by the end of first period, continued its commanding lead in the second quarter with 15 points. Morley Movers tried to push a comeback in the 2nd half but fell short.

Second game saw Warriors took its 4th win after winning against Pinoy Edition, 110-91. Jeff Paraiso had 20pts followed by 18pts of Adonis for the Warriors while Mike Nuguid exploded for 32pts and Buboy Yu added 23 for the Pinoy Edition.
