SIGNING Reggie Larry could be one of the best investments the Barracudas have made so far.
The forward scored 32 points in his debut to help the Barracudas to their first home win on Saturday, but most importantly the American has energised the team according to skipper Francis 'Kiko' Adriano.
"The previous game (against Satria Muda BritAma in Jakarta) was totally different. We played like we didn't even know each other and without chemistry. But last night (on Saturday), we communicated well and we all stepped up and hustled together to grab the win," said Adriano on the Barracudas' 91-86 victory over the Thailand Tigers at the Indoor Stadium of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas on Saturday night.
"We didn't want to give up the fight and picked up our defence which was key in our victory (on Saturday)," added the 34-year-old Filipino in an interview with The Brunei Times.
The home hero on Saturday night was new American import Larry, who gave an impressive performance on his debut with 32 points on the board. Larry also added six assists to his name. Read More…
