Hyatt – Izzah Renegade bags title, Rex gets MVP

KIULAP, BSB – Two close games in the last day of the tournament. Izzah Renegade escaped from the New York Stallions in a very close finals match to grab the champions trophy last night at the Fitness Zone in Kiulap. According to the organizer, this intercompany friendly tournament was organized promote the sport and camaraderie towards the employees. This years tourney was participated by 5 teams in every department.

After leading his team to the title and his 27 points in the finals,  Rex Villanueva of the Renegades received the MVP award. Ike Conception led the Stallions with 15 pts. Best import award goes to Maarof Jumat. Final score 49-47.  

In the earlier match, Hoopsters grabs the third spot of the tourney after defeating RS Knights in another tightly contested game, Final score 52-50. Jun Bernardo of the Hoopsters had a game high of  23pts while Charlie Sacristia of Knights had 11 points.
