Brunei Barracudas skin Tigers in Bangkok

Brunei Barracudas boosted their chance of clinching a playoff spot in the Asean Basketball League following their 94-89 win against the Thailand Tigers at Nimibutr National Stadium in Bangkok last night.
Philippines import of Barracudas Francis Adriano has a huge impact on the game finishing with 30 points and 10 rebounds to skin the Tigers.
Brunei Barracudas have the final laugh in the final meeting of both teams where they defeated the Tigers on Nov 14 at the Brunei Indoor Stadium but lost 77-66 on Nov 22.
Barracudas led all the way last night and managed to carve out a 10-point lead at the end of the first quarter with 28-18.
In the second quarter, Barracudas continued their momentum and stretched their lead to 54-41 by the end of the second quarter.
The third quarter saw a rejuvenated Tigers storming back into the match to close the gap at 81-70 at the end of the third quarter.
The Tigers then managed to erase Barracudas' lead in the fourth quarter and then took a one point lead with just five minutes left in the match.
However, Barracudas managed to close out the final minutes of the game with solid defence and offence to take the crucial win at 94-89.
The next game will be against Satria Muda BritAma at the BritAma Arena in Indonesia on Jan 10.
