Two-way race for final playoff spot
It will be a two-way race for the final playoff spot between Brunei Barracudas and the KL Dragons after Barracudas lost to Satria Muda BritAma 98-84 at the BritAma Arena in Jakarta yesterday.
With KL Dragons stunning the Philippine Patriots on Saturday night with an unlikely 77-59 win, Brunei Barracudas and the Malaysian side KL Dragons are levelled on 17 points each after 12 matches.
However Barracudas still have the advantage thanks to a better points score difference.
Benny Ang, the Operation Manager of Barracudas in a telephone interview said: "It will be very tight, right down to the final game. We have three matches to go and we have to face the top three teams of the league namely - Satria Muda BritAma on Jan 16, Singapore Slingers (Jan 20) and the final game against the Philippine Patriots on Jan 24."
"If we are on par with the KL Dragons by the end of these matches, we will be able to qualify because our scoring points difference is better," Ang expressed. Read More…
