The Barracudas: Tune-up Games
Murdered twice - Another one-sided match between The Barracudas and Linktech from last night’s tune-up game. The Barracudas 6’9” Mike Pilgrim wowed the crowd with his thunderous two-handed jam in the first and second period but he stayed in the bench most of the 2nd half. He is the last piece of the puzzle for the team to compete for the coming ABL. According to Coach Bong that the team had improved much but not close yet to the level of his expectations. He said that there’s still a lot of room to improve for them, the players must work hard and double their efforts during practice since their competing against the best of the region.
The two international imports of the Barracudas are just too much for the Linktech’s bigs to handle. No match, not even close. IMHO, it’s a bad tune-ups for the Barracudas. I believe that there’s still a lot of better players left from the previous tournaments that can be assembled to match them (probably better than Linktech). I don’t expect them (the selection) to win but this will give the Barracudas a better tune-up game.
