Soon Lee/ Easyway A make it three out of three.

SOON LEE/ Easyway A extended their unbeaten streak to three and swept Group A after they defeated Hankook Komala 72-59 last night in the Open Category of the Chung Hwa Middle School Alumni Association 18th Anniversary Basketball tournament.

Contested at the Brunei Basketball Association court in Batu Bersurat, Soon Lee/ Easyway A, who are represented by several national cagers, had three players in double figures. Lim Yee Chen topscored for the team with 16 points while Jong Guo Zhang and Tan Ye Wei added 12 and 11 points respectively in the victory.

On the other hand, Kevin Tay had the game-high to pace Hankook Komala with 26 points while Lee Huat Beng and Mark See each chipped in 10 points to a losing cause.

It was a physical match right from the tip off with both sides jocking for position under the basket at both ends of the floor. Soon Lee/ Easyway A were finding it difficult to penetrate inside against Hankook Komala.
