Reece: Soon Lee/ Easyway B wanted the win more than Team A.
KEVIN REECE, the national basketball coach, believes that 2011 will be an exciting and promising year for the national cagers.
The American made the statement after watching his players, both on the national squad and in the training scheme, slugged it out in the final of the Open Category of the Chung Hwa Middle School (CHMS) Alumni Association 18th Anniversary Basketball tournament at the Brunei Basketball Association court in Batu Bersurat on Saturday night.
But it was Soon Lee/ Easyway B that shocked their opponents after coming from behind to edge Team A 77-75 to take the crown.
"It is going to be very competitive next year. Everyone will have to give their best during training next year. This is definitely a wake up call for the veteran cagers," said Reece, in an interview with The Brunei Times, yesterday. Read More…
