Barracudas job undone

Monday, January 18, 2010

THERE are more work to be done for the Barracudas after the KL Dragons retook fourth place, the last playoff spot, from the Bruneians by notching a crucial 78-71 victory over the Singapore Slingers in the Asean Basketball League (ABL).
The Barracudas overtook the Dragons for fourth place on Saturday night after their fourth straight victory at home with an 85-81 win over Satria Muda BritAma at the Indoor Stadium of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas.

"We just have to keep our focus and win the rest of our games and make it into the playoffs," added Ramos.

When asked if there was a possibility that they could even snatch third position if they win their last two games in the 15-game season, the 48-year-old Filipino mentor replied: "That is going to be a difficult task but right now our aim is to make it into the playoffs. Meanwhile, Mike Pilgrim credited the team for playing with hearts in picking up their first win over the Indonesian side in three meetings. Read More...
