Playing at the Brunei Basketball Association court in Batu Bersurat, Roldan Binas scored a game-high 16 points for Urdan Express while Crisanto Zamora led Gills Sports Express with 14 points to a losing cause.

Urdan Express, now sporting a height advantage, ran their offence through their lengthy big man whom Gills Sport Express had no answer for as they could no longer get their shots off in the paint.

Gills Sport Express were limited to only eight points in the quarter which resulted in a 32-26 Urdan Express lead at halftime.
