Urdan shatter Hope's dreams

URDAN EXPRESS shattered Hope's dreams of clinching a treble after stealing a 72-68 victory from their opponents on Thursday night in Group A of the 2nd Queenielin's Cup at the Brunei Basketball Association court in Batu Bersurat. Buboy Yu had the game-high of 23 points for Urdan Express and Mark del Mundo contributed 19 points in the victory.
On the other hand, Marcelino Magaan and Benjo Ramos each scored 22 points for Hope, who are winless in three games.
Hope couldn't get anything going and were lacklustre in the opening period that saw them trail 13-19 heading into the second quarter.
However, they pulled their socks up in the second period by attacking the paint. This gave them the lead, going into halftime at 30-28.
