Hat-trick of wins for DST

DST picked up their third consecutive win in the Group B of the Inter-Company NBT Basketball Tournament with a 72-44 victory over Hyatt last night at the Brunei Basketball Association court in Bersurat. Justin Yong did most of the damage for DST finishing with 22 points while Yong Yaw Ren added 10 in the triumph.
On the other hand, only Buenaventura got into double figures for Hyatt tallying 15 points to his name.
The game got off to a slow start but it was DST that picked up faster. They carried the momentum into the fourth quarter and were executing well at the offensive end.
The second game saw ABMS put up a 135-25 drubbing of HAHD in Group A.
The competition continues today with Baker Hughes going up against Standard Chartered Bank in Group D at 7.30pm.
The second game pits Chevrolet Spark against BBRC in the same group at 9pm.
