FBA-LBC Cup: Beaver outshine Menglait All-Stars

BEAVER ENGINEERING stamped their class over Menglait All-Stars 82-46 in the regular seven stars category of the LBC Cup at the Brunei Basketball Association court in Batu Bersurat last night.

Junard Presado led Beaver Engineering with 14 points while Kristofer Serrano topscored for Menglait All-Stars with 11 points.

Menglait All-Stars started the game shaky as Beaver Engineering opened up a 24-12 lead in the first quarter.

Beaver Engineering were grabbing the boards as they had the height advantage compared to their opponents.

However, Menglait All-Stars hung in there despite remaining down 35-24 heading into halftime.

Menglait All-Stars were not helped by their turnovers while good teamwork helped Beaver Engineering extend their lead to 53-34 heading into the final stanza. Read More...
