Phils Trading off to winning start, TJP still struggles.

GADONG, BSB – Soon shines after crushing TJP 51-26 of the Under-23 Youth Basketball Cup last night in Batu Bersurat. TJP continue to struggle after losing their first game against WhiteHaven in the opening game of the tournament.

Dipak of Soon had 20 points while Joven chipped in 9. Fahkir and Na’Iem both had 6 points a piece for TJP.


In the earlier match of the Under-18 category, Phils Trading demolished Black Jack All-Stars, 90-52.

Tony Bong of Phils Trading led all scorers with his 26 points followed by Jonathan Lee’s 17 while Nicholas Boey and Kevin Chin of the Black Jack All-Stars scored 24 and 11 points respectively.

Tournament continues today between Stars and POXIO Re-mix for the Under-18 category at 7pm then followed by Easy Qlap and TTLO in the Under-23 at 8pm.
