111th Philippine Independence Basketball Cup 2009

This is to inform everybody that there will be 111th Philippine Independence basketball Cup 2009 with tentative schedule on 07 June 2009 and the venue to announce soon.

 

Joining fee will be B$ 400.00 per team inclusive of new FBA Identification card with picture for 12 players and 3 staff of every team.

Games will be held only every Friday & Saturday night and every Sunday to start 1:30 pm.

Independent selecting body will be assigned to confirm the number of STARS for every player and total of SEVEN (7) STARS RULE for every five players in a  team will be allowed every game. This is to balance skills of players and neutralize all participating team/s.

House Rules to be discuss and decide by all team coaches and manager/s with their signature for confirmation and will received confirmed match schedule before opening day.

Game format to decide upon confirmation on numbers of team joining the event plus prizes and trophies for the top four (4) teams etc.

Any interested party may contact Mr. Vic Racelis (8654212), Mr. Rick Ret (8882088), and Mhar Porlahe (8891068) deadline on submission of entry on or before 15 May 2009 and nobody will be entertain after that date to avoid any delay and enable us to prepare ID, Assigning of STARS for each player etc.

(ABSENTEE VOTING REGISTRATION)

As requested to the Philippine Embassy they will open on Sunday 26 April 2009, 0900Hours up to 1130H for those who are not yet registered in the absentee voting and still without Voters ID.

Please be remind that those who already registered but missed to vote in the last national election has been cancelled and must registered again.

(TWENTY (20) YEARS OF SERVICE IN BRUNEI)
The Philippine Ambassador to Brunei Her Excellency Virginia H. Benavidez agreed to issue "Certificate or Plaque of  Recognition"  for those Filipinos who work in Brunei for twenty years or more.

It will be propose by the FBA to distribute this memento in the opening day of 111 Philippine Independence Basketball Cup to be held on 07 June 2009.

For those candidates please submit your vital information such as complete name, birthday, Philippine address, Date of arrival in Brunei, telephone number and company name to any FBA officers.

To all FBA officers, there will be a meeting tomorrow, Saturday 25th of April 2009 at Seri Kamayan Restaurant in Seri.
