NZ Woman Killed In Hit-And-Run Accident

Tutong – A 47-year-old woman from New Zealand succumbed to her injuries after she was hit from behind by a car while cycling yesterday morning along the Muara/Tutong Expressway.
The police have launched an appeal for any witnesses to the accident to come forward. The police said the car involved in the fatal hit-and-run is believed to be a red or maroon-coloured Lexus.
The husband of the deceased is a pilot in Royal Brunei Airlines, according to the police. The woman died at the hospital yesterday evening, the police confirmed.
According to the police statement, the hit-and-run occurred along the Muara/Tutong Expressway near Sekolah Vokasional Nakhoda Ragam Lambak Kanan.
The accident happened around 9.15am. She was cycling along the Muara/Tutong Expressway heading towards Jerudong when she was hit by a car from behind.
