A typical quotient system in Basketball would be to add up the total points scored by each team and divide it by the total points allowed by each team. The team with the highest quotient moves on or advances to the next round. According to FIBA Amateur Rules, in case of a three-way ties or more, the Quotient system will be used to break the tie.
Quotient = Total Points Scored / Total Scored Allowed
A vs B (78-74)
B vs C (66-59)
A vs C (81-88)
Team A = (78+81)/(74+88)=0.9814
Team B = (74+66)/(78+59)=1.0218
Team C = (59+88)/(66+81)=1
