EASYWAY DELIMA are seeking revenge against HHY in the championship match of the Under-18 category of the Basketball Youth Cup when the two sides meet at the Brunei Basketball Association court in Batu Bersurat tomorrow.

HHY had handed Easyway Delima their only defeat in the tournament with a 77-69 triumph in the second round last Saturday.

"We definitely have revenge on our minds. It's going to be a different ball game as we only had eight players in our previous meeting and this time we will only be missing one player (Han Ming Kwang)," said Khoo Chin Kai, the captain of Easyway Delima, in an interview with The Brunei Times yesterday.

"He may be one of our main players in the centre position but the rest of the players on the team are capable of being the main men for the match as we're well balanced," added Khoo.

Easyway Delima will also welcome back Jamri Ramlee to the line up after he suffered an ankle injury in the loss but still managed to lead his team with 19 points last time out.

Asked whether exhaustion played a part in their defeat the last time out since they had to play two days straight, Khoo replied: "It could be one of the reasons, but we will not use that as an excuse as our opponents played better. We had nothing going at both ends of the court and that was why we lost." Read More…
